Dr. Maureen Lenore Adair, MD

Dr Maureen Adair was my doctor as a child. She never asked if I was being abused and would bring my abuser into sessions regularly. She and my abuser would make fun of me in the session. Neither noticed I that had autism and needed help.

she knows what she's doing. There were some scheduling conflicts, for example rescheduling at the last minute or the person before me ran over...but I know that just comes with the territory. Over all, good Dr. good person. You will be happy with the help she gives you.

She sees my son and provides empathy and respect instead of pity, as we’ve experienced elsewhere. She has gone out of her way to help us find and connect with resources and other families dealing with similar conditions. She is always careful to consider the big picture and to direct us to programs we did not know existed. She doesn’t take insurance, but saw my son even when I had no money because he needed help. She never rushes us and always ensures she touches on every concern. Nothing gets her upset or annoyed. She has endless patience. She’s done wonders for our family and many other families as well. Constantly late for appointments, up to 2 hours. Failed to simply provide a signature in a timely manner (3 months) so I could get reimbursed by insurance.

On several occasions we waited over 2 hours for an appointment. Two of those times, we were outside in the heat and once in the rain.

Family members and I have seen Dr. Adair off and on for more than 15 years. She is rare example of truly caring physician.
