Dr. Maureen A Fee, MD

Ignored my concerns when I stated that my child suffered adverse reaction and regression to the DPT vaccine. In fact, she refused to issue a medical exemption from future vaccines. I continued vaccinating.. My son now requires 24/7 care.:(

Dr. Fee has been treating for our son for almost 18 years. She has been wonderful in caring for our son and addressing the concerns of his worried parents. Dr. Fee has always been direct and honest in her assessments and we would never question her judgment. Over the years, we have recommended her to many friends and family members who have children with special needs.

Dr. Fee is an amazing doctor. We have been a patient of Dr. Fee's for the past 10 years. She is excellent!!!

I think Doctor Fee is the most unprofessional doctor around. We left our first appointment with her stating that my Son is on the line between being developmentally delayed and MR. Nobody knows my Son better than me as his Mom. He is in no way shape or form MR. He has come so far from the diagnosis that Dr. Fee (If you can even call her Dr.) gave him. She is not a good Doctor. She's nothing but a joke.

Wait time was very long, and when you have a 6 month old, it makes it very difficult. I found Dr Fee to be very arumentative on our two visits. She told us our son was overweight when he was in the 50th percentile. She calculated his weight based on when he should have been born instead of when he was born. (he was a month premature) The therapists working with Dr Fee were good, but again, after waiting for more than an a hour. our son was not very cooperative and therefore they could not get a good read on how he was developing. Dr Fee has no bedside manner, I found her to be rude and argumentative. We will be finding another developmental pediatrician if needed, but currently early intervention and our pediatrician are very happy with his development.

My daughter, Avery, has always been a little different. She reached her milestones later than her brother and other peers. She has trouble in social groups, sensory issues, and multiple irrational fears. After countless WASTED hours dealing with the Montgomery County Intermediate Unit, my husband and I took things into our own hands and went to see Dr. Fee. She was able to fit us in for a full developmental evaluation in 2 weeks - parents of the autism world, you know - this is UNHEARD OF. She was terrific with my daughter, very kind and patient. We drove over an hour to see Dr. Fee and got there early. She actually took us in early - again, unheard of. She was thorough and gave us every bit of her time and attention. I would refer every parent to Dr. Fee, even if everyone has told you that your child does not have autism. Do not ignore that "mommy instinct"! My daughter would still be floundering today if I ignored mine. See a good doctor like Dr. Fee and know that she is… giving you a solid diagnosis.

I feel that Dr. Fee is an excellant doctor and very knowledgable. She has made many families in the autistic community feel as if they have a handle on what they need to work on. She puts families in touch with resources to assist them in all of the hurdles they have to cross. I recommend her to every new parent that is seeking a Developmental Pediatrician.
