Dr. Maureen Obrien Jordan, MD

Had a emergency c-section mayb9th 2024 with discharge instruction to followup in 6 weeks. I've called 8 numbers and the hospital 3x and no one knows how to reach her. You would think the hospital she performed mu surgery at would have her info but they don't even have her on file. Wow. I was supposed to use the birthing center so have no obgyn. After spending the entire day calling and getting referrals to clinics i know nothing about im annoyed. Guess I'll have to search out another dr that has no info on my surgery.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Dr. Jordan did not give me the care I needed throughout my pregnancy. If I was having an issue it would take several days to call me back. Around week 28 of my pregnancy there was protein in my urine (sign of preeclampsia) and I called her office and the nurse said I was probably just dehydrated. I had pain in my side starting at 29 weeks (also a sign of pre eclampsia) and I called at 29 weeks and never received a phone call back. I had a visit with Dr. Jordan's NP at 32 weeks because Dr. Jordan was out of town and told her all of my issues and she said you need to talk to Dr. Jordan. I was supposed to be seen at 37 weeks but again Dr, Jordan was out of town. In your third trimester you are supposed to be seen every 2 weeks and Dr. Jordan let me go 5 weeks without seeing her. At 36 weeks and 3 days I had stillbirth because of Dr. Jordan and her lack of care. I had to still go in for my 6 week post partum check up and Dr. Jordan said I'm sorry nobody… knows what to do because "it doesn't happen that often". Upon further investigation Dr. Jordan was in town at week 35 when I should have been seen but was totally booked and couldn't fit me in to her schedule. This is unacceptable. If you would like your child to live do not choose Dr. Jordan as your OB.

I'm a new patient to Dr Jordan and was happy with my initial appointment. I was put on a new med and was told to "just call" if the med wasn't working or if it was too expensive and they could get me a new script. Well I've been calling for over a week now and have actually run out of my meds and still nothing from the doctor. It's pretty disappointing and frustrating. Is there that much of a shortage of doctors? I cant seem to find one that has time for any patient follow up.

She listens, is concerned and caring. Takes the time to explain options and why she prefers one over the other for any circumstance.

I have to say she is the most positive, caring doctor. Doctor Jordan delivered my daughter by C- section and everything went great. Our prenatal visits prior to delivery were nice too. She was happy for us as we were waiting for our baby. She is very professional doctor and great person who truly cares about you and the baby!

I cannot say enough good things about this doctor. her office got me in with her at such short notice, the staff was so nice. her nurse was so great, and nobody was rude or judge mental. She took the time to listen to me and understood my concerns, put my mind at ease. she is going to be my new gyno. I would recommend her to anyone.

I was pregnant with my fourth and ended up getting Dr. Jordan because my dr was off that weekend. I am so grateful I received her. My delivery was an emergency c-section with a breech baby whose cord was wrapped around her neck. My daughter had swallowed meconium and was green from her head to her toe. My baby was so entrenched in the meconium that she would not come out very easily. So Dr. Jordan had to cut me again in order to get out my baby. 8 years later, I thank her with all my heart that my baby daughter and myself are not only alive, but very healthy and happy, AND I do not even have a visible scar. If I ever need to go under the knife again, for ANY reason, I would want Dr. Jordan there to do it. She is a fully competent doctor and has good bedside manners as well.

I went to Dr. Jordan while pregnant all 3 times. And she is so wonderful. Very caring and knowledgable. Great bed side manners. She explains everything she is going to do before she does it and tells you what to expect. I would highly recommend her for a doctor.
