Dr. Maureen Oonoon Khoo, MD

After a wrong diagnosis and a costly appointment at that, I made a follow up appointment and was told the wrong office to go to (mtn view instead of Los gatos). Needless to say, after driving out there and finding this out, I found a different doctor at that point. What should have been an easy fix has taken weeks to deal with--very frustrating!

Dr. Khoo does not have the greatest bedside manner. She spends very little time with you, doesn't ask the right questions, and doesn't provide smart answers. When she does answer questions, I feel she doesn't exude much confidence in them. In fact, one time I was the one making suggestions for the best course of action regarding my health. She sort of nodded and said, "that's a good idea." Otherwise, she would have let me leave with nothing to go on. Her office staff is disorganized and they never follow up with you. Once, I had an appointment and three months later I had to call the office two times just to get the results. I later found out on the document that the results came in only two weeks after my appointment. That is just unacceptable, especially where people's well-being are concerned.

Everyone should be aware that this doctor will charge you an arm and a leg without ever telling you any information. She will not answer any of your questions and I believe she does not have much knowledge about the medical industry.

Truly the worst experience of my life! I didnt receive a phone call until TWO months after my routine check up to tell me something was not normal! Unethical !!!

I expected much more seeing Dr. Khoo for my first prenatal care visit. Meeting her for the first time. She was "running behind" and we waited an hour and a half. I was the last person to be seen after a full waiting room during the time I waited. She spend a total of 1 minute and 30 seconds with me for my appointment. She checked the baby's heartbeat. Then answered a couple questions and left. No one was waiting after me. I assume she wanted to go to lunch. I will NOT go back and I am writing to my insurance to complain about her as well.

I have been going to Dr. Khoo for years and have not had any problems. She has always been caring and answers all my questions.
