Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:I found my way into Midwifery after working with adolescents and young mothers. Many of them expressed a desire to learn more about their bodies and sexual health, but felt uncomfortable talking with their healthcare providers. I made a career change to help be a part of the solution.What I want my patients to know about me:My goal is to create a safe space where people feel empowered to take control of their health. I am especially passionate about reproductive rights, contraceptive education, LGBTQIA+ advocacy, and mental health wellness. You know your body best, and I am here to listen and help ensure that your physical and emotional needs are met.What I do when I'm not seeing patients:I'm an animal lover, so in my free time you will likely find me riding horses or hiking with my dog and husband. I stay active with cycling, yoga, and while I try to tell myself that I enjoy running, it's a daily struggle! My favorite way to relax is to …curl up with a good book, and you will often see me with my favorite beverage, an iced coffee, in hand.
