Dr. Maureen Marie Smith-King, MD

If you are looking for a doctor who is going to take time and listen to you, provide excellent care and share quality recommendations with you - look no further. Her office's are clean, her receptionist's are friendly and her nurse is very kind. Dr. King is an excellent practitioner and has a gentle, thoughtful way of communicating. She has taken excellent care of me through a very rough time and I will continue to see her and recommend her highly to anyone I know.

I have been a patient of Dr. King for the last four months and will no longer be continuing. After three appointments I have yet to have a good experience. I kept telling myself it was not that bad and that finding a new doctor would be too difficult which is why I even went to three appointments. My first appointment she insisted on doing a Pap smear which caused bleeding and unnecessary worry for my baby's safety. She also told me that I would "probably be fine" to take an allergy medicine I had been taking even after giving her the name without looking it up to check. Luckily I checked before I continued to take it and there were possibly health risks for the baby associated with the mother taking the medication during pregnancy. What changed my mind into finding another doctor was when there was something seen on my ultrasound by the technician and instead of looking at the ultrasound herself she told me I needed to go get further tests and that there was a chance of something… wrong with the baby. She has very poor bedside manner and did not approach it correctly at all. I had a panic attack the whole way home. I am severely disappointed and will not be returning to her office.

I would definitely recommend Dr. King to any of my friends and family. It was easy to schedule an appointment and the wait wasn't long. During my visit, Dr. King listened to my concerns and answered all of my questions. She had great recommendations and gave me a few options as well. She was very friendly, patient, and trustworthy. Overall I was very impressed and had a good experience

I will not recommend this Doctor not even to my worst enemy. She has no knowledge and confidence about her job. I wish I wouldn't have waste so much time and money with her. Be smart and go see another real Doctor.

Awful experience. Made me feel even worse. Horrible bedside manner. Wouldn't even release my records to a new doctor who was going to help me. We had to get a lawyer to have her and her office forward my records.

I have a good experience with her.
