Dr. Tedesco was excellent! She explained my procedure thoroughly and made sure that I felt comfortable going into surgery! The surgery she performed turned out great and I felt little pain or discomfort. She always responds to my emails promptly at all hours of the day! The world would be in better hands if all doctors treated their patients the way she does!

Dr. Tedesco performed an laparoscopic colectomy for my father. The surgery was very successful. What is really amazing is that she called us late at night to inform us the test result on my father's lymph nodes and told us that my father is completely cancer free. Thank you doctor!!

I spent some time looking for a general surgeon at Kaiser with laparoscopy experience to do a bilateral inguinal hernia repair. Dr. Maureen Tedesco was the perfect fit. I saw her on the same day that my GP made the surgical referral. She discussed options, potential complications and expected outcomes. She is positive, smart, personable, direct, and enthusiastic.I had the ambulatory surgery today at Kaiser Santa Clara Homestead, walked in at 11 and walked out again unaided at 6:30 pm. The hospital facilities and equipment are modern and very clean. The whole patient care team was phenomenal, very friendly and professional; special mention to Esther the pre-op nurse. Maureen visited once pre-op and followed up twice post-op. The repair feels great already; very, very little pain, swelling or bruising; and no need for pain meds. Looks like a great outcome and could not be happier.
