I have high regard for Maurice Mehrban for he is practicing as a real devoted and old fashion practice of medicine. A practice that is not like a fish market. Paying attention and spending ample time to a limited number of patients. He knows all patients with their first names, their medications. He calls me to remind me of my check up or test time and that I am short in my medications. These all shows that HE REALLY CARES

Very glad to have been referred to Dr. Maurice Mehrban by OSCAR HEALTH REFRRAL. Called office, talked to Doctor directly. Very nice, calm, professional and caring. Saw me the same day since I was going for surgery and needed clearance. He came to office to clear me for Monday surgery although it was Saturday. God bless him. Examined me, did the tests, ordered labs, wrote clearance note for anesthesiologist and faxed it to them the same day. 3 1/2 hours in the office and he was still kind and caring. I will follow with him and I highly recommend

I am honored to have been referred to Maurice Mehrban by my Primary Care Doctor. Saw me the same date I called. Picked up the phone and discussed my problem. It was unbelievable for me, but he spent over two hours with me and my wife for my first office visit. Reviewing my records, doing a complete examination on me, calling my family doctor, discussing medications and side effects, answering all our questions. He calls me at home to check my response to medications, waiting online that I check my blood pressure and send him my cardiac rhythm. HE IS A REAL DOCTOR. Did my research and due diligence in finding my general practitioner when I moved from the east coast back to Los Angeles. Mehrban had great reviews and I was impressed on paper with his education, speciality in cardiology, and that he was also a lawyer. Had a physical in early 2021 with him. Office was empty when we walked in, no one there the entire visit besides a receptionist, and the office had a bad odor which smelled like a backup from sewer system. I even mentioned it to the receptionist. Mehrban didn’t seem to follow regular procedures for a first time patient... he didn’t even weigh me. This was supposed to be a complete physical. When my first renewal of my regular prescriptions came around after being in his care, the pharmacy received no response from his office. Both of us had to use our former doctor on the east coast for our refill request. I gave Mehrban the benefit of the doubt and when I needed a second refill, I personally called his office to let them know… I needed a refill. Called pharmacy today, and they had not heard back from Mehrban’s office and they reached old to my former doctor on the east coast, and again my refill was approved right away. Mehrban called hours later and proceeded to berate me and tell me all his credentials again. Worst experience I’ve ever encountered in my lifetime, and I’m in my mid-fifties. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS DOCTOR TO MY WORST ENEMY!
