“I am glad that I had the opportunity to get an outstanding dental education at Howard University, College of Dentistry. But dental school was just the beginning as I moved on to undergo a yearlong hospital residency before transitioning to private practice. During that time, I was able to work with specialists in oral surgery and emergency care as I was performing more complex dental care. My ongoing commitment to excellence is demonstrated by my active pursuit of continuing education programs sponsored through the Academy of General Dentistry.
