Dr. MAURICE VALENTINI, OD is a BOARD CERTIFIED OPTOMETRISTDr. Valentini was born and raised in a suburb of Detroit in South East, MI.After leaving High School Dr. Valentini enlisted in the military and served in the 82nd Airborne Division stationed at Fort Bragg, NC as a combat engineer. Soon after being discharged from active duty, Dr. Valentini enrolled in an Optician program at Ferris State College in Big Rapids, MI and received a 2-year Associated Degree.For the next 10 years Dr. Valentini worked and gained experience in all aspects of optics from wholesale optical labs processing prescription eyeglasses, private practices, national corporate optical retail chains, multi-specialty practices, and refractive surgery centers as an optician, ophthalmic technician and Optometrist.In the early 1990’s Dr. Valentini decided to return to school to obtain his professional degree and once again returned to Ferris State University and attended the Michigan College of Optometry where he …received his Doctor of Optometry in 2000.
