Dr. Mauricio Davalos, MD

I have to disagree with everyone. I was diagnosed with bladder cancer in spring, I saw Dr. Davalos one day and had surgery the following day. Since, I have had 6 treatments with the BCG vaccine (immunotherapy). Dr. Davalos has always been very pleasant, so is his nurse Lauri and everyone else in the clinic. I still have to get many treatments and I trust I will keep on being pleased. I highly recommend Dr. Davalos. Suzanne A.

Dr Davalos was recommended to me for a follow up to urinary problems. I was to leave town for a three week vacation when I came down with an infection. I called to see him or possibly get antibiotics. I was told that he was unavailable. I asked to see anyone in the group. I was told that “the drs only see their own patients “ I was not to see another“urologist”. I went to a urgent care center and the nurse practitioner (after giving my history) wrote me a script for a broad spectrum antibiotic. On a later occasion , a family member (pt of Davalos) ran out of her medication. I called to see if they could just give her a few days worth of meds but I had to run it by his nurse. I called back several time because they do not return calls. My family member had to wait 12 days to see dr davalos to get her “vesicare” this isn’t a narcotic but rather a medication that allows you to get some sleep instead of getting up every 30-40 minutes to empty your bladder. You’re fired ! And I’ll tell… everyone of my experience with your group. I am not the only one that has been treated this way . I have heard this from many other patients and various doctors.

This doc does not care of his patients. Dad went to this dr.'office in good faith hoping to get the help he needed.Was very rude and my father had a terrible experience with this man. Unfortunately father is not with us anymore .I certainly do not recommend this man!

Worst experience ever. After having a CT done he strongly recommended a procedure which I found of little or of no value. Following his advice I did it. The room where the procedure was performed was a combination storage / examination room with liquid bottles laying all over the floor and junk everywhere even on top of examination tables. Putting it mildly the place looked filthy. A few days after the procedure an infection set. I called him to tell him about it and he called in the pharmacy for an antibiotic. During our conversation I clearly stated that I have never had such kind of infection before and that it was obvious I got this from the procedure. What did the genius prescribed? The wrong antibiotic. We were obviously not dealing with a typical infection. Long story short after dealing with this guys incompetence as well as his staff's I endured a week of pain, sleeplessness and discomfort while begging for him to change the antibiotic for something with a wider… spectrum. Obviously what he prescribed was not working. I had to flat out demand the change of antibiotic after the Lori nurse lied about a urine test (said it came out negative) which later on she admitted the sample was miss placed, probably never tested and for sure never sent to the lab. I did my own test at home and clearly indicated the infection was still there as well and not only the symptoms. After 24 hours of taking the appropriate antibiotic I felt huge relief and after a few days it all cleared. Big coverage of incompetent behavior from screw up to screw up while the patient is suffering from their incompetence. Until now, I never received an apology from the "man" in charged. The man with 9 years of what appears to be incompetent behavior Mauricio Davalos. I will stay away from him and recommend you do so as well. PS. Infections if not properly treated can cause permanent tissue damage. Competent doctors ask to call if there is no improvement regarding symptoms within two days of taking medication. Standard protocol.

To think that this individual calls himself a physician is a farce. His interest is clearly evident. He is there to make money. He has absolutely no interest in serving and helping his patients. He has a crass and arrogant attitude and even a mocking smirk as he talks to patients.
