My husband has chirossis and very sick dr liskur put on what you would call a theatrical performance very uncaring and no meds to help my husband. We were both very upset guess he’s in it just for the money don’t waste your time with this dr

I have to agree with the disgusted review, was told it that way or no way. Went on to another facility for another opinion and everything was explained much better with options and reasoning why I need certain meds and restrictions. The appointment that I had rarely started with dr lisker himself, he had a student being a "puppet" for him. He did same thing wit prescribing meds had a different dr prescribe them, more than likely has something to do with the amount of money he receives from pharmaceutical companies annually. I am woth the other poster, I hope he gets reviewed soon so no one else deals with what I have also.

I was under the care of Dr Lisker after being admitted to Barnes, I felt good about him at forst. After I was following up and was concerned about the meds I was on I realized he something wasn't right. I wasn't tolerating the meds, he kept saying I needed them and reiterated why, all the tests & findings I had showed differntly, I since seeker another opinon and now have been suggested a procedure that will relieve the problem more than any medication. The office staff wasn't returning my messages when I would call with questions either, I have went thru every avenue possible to report what happened to me, if something will be done or not, time will tell. I wouldn't reccommend anyone going to this dr. Very arrogant and mindset, explains one way and that is it, hasn't showed me the proof in any of my imagery at any appointments. The new dr I am seeing has pulled up all the imagery in appointments and compared them with myself and my caregivers. He had said there was no change between… the 2 I jad approx 6 months apart but there is signaficant changes in them, the later one shows less of a problem where he was addressing and a bigger problem elsewhere that he never mentioned. I hope the medical board gets to the investigation soon so no one else has to deal with what I have.

I was taken under his service during my stay at Barnes. He was amazing with my care and is following up with me after being discharged from the hospital. His bedside manner is wonderful and he is great at explaining complex medical issues. I would definitely recommend him.

My wife and I have Dr. Lisker-Melman to thank for saving my life. I was in liver and kidney failure at Barnes Hospital and he was instrumental in making sure that I received outstanding medical care while in the hospital. He even called us personally on a Saturday after I got out of the hospital to check on how I was doing, which was amazing to us. I cannot say how much I really appreciated his professionalism. I am doing well almost four years later and I owe that all to him.

Dr. Lisker-Melman is a great doctor. He takes his time to explain with details about the condition. I feel very lucky to have him as my doctor. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Lisker Melman is one of the most personable physicians I have had the good fortune of knowing. He made it his personal mission to ensure my liver transplant. He is simply wonderful!
