Dr Melhado has been my cardiologist for 15 years and I owe my heart health to his genuine expertise. He has brought me through some difficult times with my heart history including mitral valve repair and atrial fibrilation. Saw his card on a wall at my Primary when a second cardio opinion was suggested. Made 3 appointments for 3 separate tests. The stress test poisoned me with radioactive materials because staff blew a vein and pushed nuclear material anyway causing free floating radioactive material in a huge bubble and I still have the painful bruise 5 weeks later. Then they put more into a vein. Then they would not give me my records and they kept hanging up on me so I tried the website on his card and it went to a Venture Capitalist and business broker site! I had to get my insurance company to contact them for my records which I finally received weeks later. HE IS NOT AFFILIATED WITH ANY HOSPITAL OR JFK. DO NOT GO HERE!

Very small and cramped office, he tries to see many patients at once and my appointment runs late, very often, and once he sees me he tries to get me out of the door as soon as possible and I don't receive the answers needed. I don't recommend

DR, MAURICIO MELHADO IS AN OUTSTANDING CARDIALOGIST IN ADDITION TO HIS ABILITY TO COMMUNICATE WITH HIS PATIENTS IN A SPECIAL WAY THAT INSTALLS TRUST AND CONFIDENCE IN THEM.

Almost impossible to reach anyone in the office including making an appointment and getting a call back. Left with feeling just another patient. Time with doctor is rushed. PA is pleasant. Often better if get her. No ingenuity used in trying to solve problem. Have feeling approach to medical problem is SOP.

I always enjoy my visit, I feel cared for and he listens and makes me feel that everything is going to be fine. He is a very good Doctor, living in South Florida I have a few Doctors that are not very good with bedside manner and spending time with me. I highly recommend this Cardiologist to anyone.

After having a few symptoms, and all diagnostic testing came back negative, Dr. Melhado still had a "feeling." So I agreed to a cardiac catherization. He found that I had a 99% occluded artery and I was rushed to get a stent at a local hospital. This man saved my life because he listened to my concerns and did everything he could. I owe this man my life!

I have never scheduled an appointment and waited this long without the courtesy of the receptionist informing me some form of delay. The unprofessional response of (we have other patients) is unacceptable, due to the fact that I had an "APPOINTMENT"and I signed in 5 minutes early. You have to wonder what form of training has been rendered here.

I would recommend Dr. Melhado to all my family and friends. Great cardiologist and a very caring person!Good doc is hard to find, worth the wait
