Dr. Mauricio A Ramirez, MD

Dr. (and I use that term lightly) is among the worst doctors I have ever gone to in my entire life. He gave me the completely wrong diagnosis, wrote incorrect information in my chart and refused to change it, and when I questioned him about why these things happened, rather than answer me, he sent me a certified letter discharging me. No reason, just discharging me. I am filing a complaint with the Florida Board of Medicine. IMA doesn't care nor listen. Also, he lists association with "11" hospitals. In reality, he is associated with 1. Lee Memorial is one huge group and all these other facilities are just that, facilities, buildings, that are associated as part of Lee Memorial. He is no longer admitted to practice in Texas. He has no license listed in the state of Florida. I have a request in for his public records. He is a terrible doctor, doesn't give the proper medication when indicated, tells you you have something you do not. Then he gets very angry if you simply ask… him to explain it. Don't go to this doctor or this practice (IMA). They have no doctors educated in the US, their Practice Manager refuses to speak with you. They will only respond to a "list" of questions - no discussion. Check out their doctors BEFORE you make an appointment. That was my mistake. Discovered it 3 times before I finally got it through my head. BAD DOCTOR!!!!! Would give him (and IMA) a negative star if they were available.

Worst Dr ever. Makes decisions without test. Does not listen to symptoms from patient. Caused further medical issues with treatment. I would give him a negative rating if this was an option.

Terrible experience with this Dr. I was in the hospital for a week and he only came in once. He stayed about 5 minutes, didn't listen to my concerns and never came back in. He was making medical decisions like changing my medication and ordering tests without ever seeing me.

Worst doctor I have ever been to. Beware if this doctor.

I would not recommend Dr Ramirez. He did not listen to my concerns and was very arrogant. The medication he gave me made my condition worse and he did not seem to care one bit. I had to find another doctor.
