Dr. Maurine Ellen Horowitz, MD

Dr. Horowitz is kind and Did everything needed to stop hot flashes. I feel back to myself thanks to her.

I wouldn't take my dog to see this doctor. She interrupted me every time I tried to ask a question about my extreme pelvic pain, was incredibly rude and the most condescending doctor I have ever seen and I've seen a lot! She even was text messaging during my appointment. I'm appalled at this, save your money and time!!!! I should have walked out!

Dr. Maurine Horowitz has been my doctor for years. She is always very knowledgeable, friendly, patient and comforting when needed. I would give her 10 stars if I could. SHE IS THE BEST!!

Dr Horowitz is the best! So glad I found her. She's very attentive and kind. The best Gynecologist I have ever seen. I moved twice in the past 20 yes and finding a good doctor was difficult. So glad I found her!

I was new to the area and needed an OBGYN because I became pregnant unexpectedly. The lab lost my test results and/or failed to perform the tests altogether on THREE essential tests I was required to have done. She failed to notice my results were even missing until I pressed her on the issue. She disregarded legitimate concerns I had and instead responded with rudeness and an attitude. She also has no respect for how busy my life is and acts as though I am being unreasonable when I try to schedule appointments around my work schedule. Very difficult to make appointments that do not interfere with my work since the office usually will not schedule earlier than 9am and often not later than 3pm. Does not offer any days when they are open later/earlier.

I admit she comes off a little harsh but its because she takes her job very seriously. Once you see her a few times you can see she really cares but she's not going to baby you. She takes emergency appointments same or next day and follow up is made easy. I have had many problems and have had other doctors but she definitely knows what she is doing. Highly recommend.

I have been a patient of Dr. Horowitz for about 13 years now. I started going to her before I had children, and later she delivered one out of two babies. She actually did my emergency c-section, and she made me feel calm and very taken care of. I really like the fact that she is at a new office. Dr. Horowitz, always sits with me for a while and lets me really think about her questions. She does not rush, and I really feel like she loves what she does. I have had nothing but great treatment from her and her staff.

I have been going to Dr. Horowitz for years and think she is amazing. She always makes me feel comfortable and I know that I can discuss anything with her. It is obvious that her years of experience have molded her into a top-notch doctor who will take as much time with you as you like. I always come in armed with a question or two, and Dr. Horowitz never makes me feel rushed. Highly recommended.

This doctor failed to explain pre and post operative expectations. She failed to explain in a way that my caregiver could understand what transpired during the surgery. There was no follow up call. She prescribed medication without telling me or explaining, only discovered when I picked up other medications. She minimized my concerns, and overall I found her to be uncaring and very unprofessional. So much so, that although I now fear I have an infection related to the surgery but I will be seeking another gyn to follow up.
