Dr. Mauro D Gasparini, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Gasparini for over 36 years. My family also went to him. We were treated with respect. His staff members were also kind. All of them were willing to lend a helping hand. I would recommend seeing Dr. Gasparini, if you want an honest and professional answer to your questions.

My mother recently moved into assisted living and Dr. Gasparini was one of the in house doctors at the facility (the Bristal_Massapequa) and she had seen him a few times. One Friday night I received a phone call from one of the doctor's office workers. She said that my mother had a rare urinary tract infection that did not respond to oral antibiotics, and we needed to get her to a hospital ASAP or she might get sepsis. She said he was affiliated with St. Josephs and that we should go there-she would forward all of the paperwork. In the interest of space, I will abridge this story. We got her to the hospital, they had no information on my mother. We waited 4 hours on a Saturday, missed a family function, but they admitted her. I called Dr. Gasparini, but his associate answered. He was smug and disinterested. Finally, Monday morning I called the office and asked Dr. G to get back to me. No response. 3 hours later, I went to the office and was greeted by rude staff. After losing my… temper, they sent out an NP to tell me she would handle the situation and I would get a phone call. Dr. Gasparini finally called to let me know that his test was inaccurate for some reason and she was being released-no UTI. WHAT?????? God help the elderly with no advocates with Dr's like this! He said, "Sorry for all of the running around"! He should apologize to my mother who's arm was horribly bruised from the IV she never needed! Disgusting!

Dr. Gasparini USED to be a good thorough, caring doctor. Now he has a poor bedside manner, lacks professionalism, does not care at all about helping his patient IMO, just wants the billing. Oh and by far the worst office staff ever - so incompetent!!! Good luck trying to get an insurance authorization, referral or day time appointment. When they give you a specialist referral, you call the specialist and find they have been retired for several years. Everyone in the waiting area comments about how unprofessional, uncaring and incompetent the staff is.

I worked for Dr. Gasparini many years ago. He is very Professional, kind and caring. Dr. Gasparini truly cares about his Patients and staff. I learned so much from him working for him and for that I will always be greatful. Fantastic, hard working Doctor.

This is a great office they receive patients in a timely manner the girls call u in with smile and friendly personality..... Its is a busy office like the rest of the world but at least they do it with good manners.Dr. Gasparini and Carpentieri are smart and great at what they do.....thank u for offering to draw blood, do ekg's,echo. and cardiograms in office for the patients convenience ....

The Dr. Was very attentive & interested in my complaints & had a plan of treatment & discussed plan in detail with me before I left the office.

DR. GASPARINI HAS BEEN VERY KIND THROUGH THE YEARS. MY HUSBAND WAS A PATIENT AND PASSED AWAY IN 1999. MY SON ALSO A PATIENT DIED IN 2000. HE WAS VERY KIND AND CARING DURING THESE TIMES.

Would deffinatly recommend him as an Internist. He is always prefessional yet friendly and attentive.He personnally always returns my calls, and addressed my concerns.

I've been going to see Dr.Gasparini for years. He is always on time, thorough, professional and diagnoses my medical issues properly. He had treated my whole family for years and always takes the time to listen to my concerns. Both he and his staff have always gone above and beyond for me and my family.... Much appreciated!

I had a good experience with Dr Gasparini. He is very Attentive to my concerns & to my problems. He ordered the appropriate tests & was able to diagnose my problem & prescribed the appropriate treatment. Now I recommended my entire family to him
