Dr. Max Frank Adler, MD

The office staff are completely rude. Dr Adler prescribe medicine that is no longer being manufactured. Insisted on prescribing alternate that was not covered by my insurance that was 1000s of dollars and would not even consider any other alternative. Would not work with my insurance. At follow up, said my rash was gone, which it clearly was not as I went to another dr the next week to get additional treatment and they could see it.

I've followed Dr. Adler to 3 locations now (each further away from me) because of his skills. He is frozen, scraped, cut, stitched so many skin cancers on me that I have lost track. And, as necessary, he also sends me off to a Mohs guy (plus, sometimes, plastic surgery). His many diagnoses haven't been wrong even once! His various treatments end up leaving no marks at all! I trust him and his judgement impeccably and literally see him at least every 3 months. Some negative comments on line re office staff do not hold true with his current new location in Plano; very helpful group of young women.

missed squamous cell cancer in Oct 2015, patient died in Nov 2017...really missed by family

A lot of confidence in the physician, but don't expect to get any help or answers from his front office staff. They absolutely need a course in patient relations!

Sells the obagi products for much higher than it would cost outside. Rude when you ask questions to understand the diagnosis.

Treated foot fungus for a long time with no cure. He prescribes the most expensive medicines all the time.

So happy with treatment at Dr. Adler's office. I've been in 4 or 5 times and they are extremely attentive and efficient. They take all of my questions and concerns very seriously and take the time to respond appropriately to my needs. The doctor is excellent and the staff is professional and courteous.

The staff is some of the rudest, most unprofessional people I have ever seen. You can clearly hear them talking baby talk to each other, which seems to be the normal way they communicate to each other in the front. They also comment on patients within hearing of the patients in the waiting room. The doctor is a pervert, I was uncomfortable the entire time.

There were no patients in the office but I still had to wait for a long time before I was seen. The receptionist wasn't friendly when we got there and kept talking on her cell phone. After we were finally put in a room, I could hear alot of talking with some sales guy and the PA about their weekend activities and plans for vacation and personal stuff. Finally another 15 minutes late, when the PA finally came in the room, she was rude and impersonal. I brought in my 3 year old son for a rash, and she acted like she didn't even like kids. She wasn't caring or professional and seemed like I was bothering her with my questions. Worst experience ever.

I had a bad experience with this Dr. as well and after they operated on a cancer spot I am going to have to go to another Dr. and have it fixed. The first time they operated they didn't do a biopsy because they said they like to go ahead and just take the cancer all out. Well they didn't get it all and I had to go back for a second time and the second surgery left me with 12 stitches in a very visible place. I was devastated, and am looking for a plastic surgeon that can fix what they have done.
