Dr.Cates is a good Doctor unless he wants you to go to his Dr friends and you are not able to. I work from 4:30 am till 6 or 7pm I wasn't able to get off to go see his G.I. Dr friend who wanted to charge me $400 for a colonoscopy I had to Cancel when I told Dr Cates this he pretty much called me a lier I will not go into any further detail. This tells me how Drs are one Dr sends you to his friend then his friend ETC. And on top of that his Receptionist is a very rude person I will not Recommend him to anyone

I have been seeing Dr.Max for almost 2 years now,he is very efficient when it comes to my quarterly check up,constantly up to date on my medication refills,taking notes and making sure with other doctors I see and always comparing notes that they are all on the same page.Very thorough with blood test that I need & other test that require my health being up to date.He also Blessed me with a doctors note for travel hardship to visit my son in prison in Texas, my son was nine hours away,due to the note from Dr.Max my son is now 2 hours away which allows myself and his mother to visit at least once a month,RECOMMEND DR.MAX 100%,to any one looking for a good family Dr.. Sincerely Mike L.

I wasted 6 months going to Dr Cates and never got the referral I needed.

I'm a little older and have multiple health issues and Dr Cates always takes time to deal with all of my problems, not just the ones that we routinely deal with. I would consider him to be thorough, and very caring. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a new physician. His staff are friendly and accommodating as well.

I have always been very impressed with the way in which Dr. Cates as well as his staff have treated my family & I. We have been going to Dr. Cates for a few years and we just love him. We always feel like we are treated as family & friends with great care & respect when we go here. His staff is so friendly & helpful all the time. They all go above & beyond for us & I greatly appreciate it. This is the greatest doctor we have ever had. We love them & will continue to keep them as a valuable part of our lives. Thanks you Dr. Cates & your staff!
