Dr. Maximiliano Cardozo, MD

I had a very difficult experience with this office and this doctor. I would not recommend you see this doctor and practice because of my consistently negative experiences and lack of compassionate care and understanding. This pandemic has been stressful enough and this office did not care for my well being. I was running low on prescriptions and called multiple times for refills. They said they had sent refills to my pharmacy several times. All of those times I went to the pharmacy, the pharmacist said they did NOT receive the refill order, even after the office said that they would send it. I was down to very little medication and had to call them with an emergency situation and they showed little to no care. They are unprofessional and are not consistent with my care. I would recommend you look elsewhere for treatment and support because this office lacks both.

I went to se doctor Cardozo, in the first visit he said to stop taking all medication, that did not apply to my condition. Just in the first interview. I followed his advice and ended up much worst. My symptoms came back and I had a massive set back. I would not recommend doctor Cardozo he was very negligent

The person who takes care of appointments is completely incompetent. They cancelled my appointment after I confirmed it before and when I went to the doctor, the appointment was rescheduled by them

Pretty good at diagnosing, average at prescribing, poor at managing and retaining staff, terrible at returning calls promptly

He is absolutely the worst Doctor ever. You can never get through to the Office, he never called in my medication or called me as promised. He embaresses his staff in front of you during your visit. His staff leaves you on hold for a minimum of 20 minutes, then hangs up on you!!!!! Worst experience ever!

Worst experience I've had with a psychiatrist. Long wait, terrible attitude on receptionist, phone lines always busy.

He seems like he does not like to listen and rather make assumptions as to what you are trying to say rather than ask questions to clarify with you. I had to stop a med that I was not supposed to stop abruptly because the side effects were horrible. I called the office to speak to him or see him as soon as possible. They told me he would call me and never did, the next day I called and got hung up on 4 times! That first visit will be the last visit with this doctor. Horrible and definitely unprofessional.

He is completely inflexible. He does not have the empathy necessary for this field. He never attempted to clarify my diagnosis. And automatically assumed I was attempting to take advantage instead of listening fully. I do not recommend this doctor for someone with a moderate to severe issue.

Very good DR. He cares about his patients. He is also strict, and careful prescribing and dispensing medications.

I LOVE Dr. Cardozo!!! I've been seeing him for about 3yrs now and he and his staff is AMAZING!!!
