Dr. Maxine P Vu, DDS

I have been a patient of Dr. Vu for 14 years and on my recommendation many family members also go to her. This morning, I had another great experience with Dr. Vu when I had to have a filling replaced. As always, she was both professional and personable. Her staff is friendly and competent. I have had nothing but positive experiences with Dr. Vu for 14 years!

In the middle of the COVID crisis I was suddenly faced with an impacted wisdom tooth. In less than 24 hours I was seen by Dr. Vu in a safe, sterile setting. Her personal intervention led to a referral to an oral surgeon and the tooth was successfully removed. This was just another example of exceptional care that I have recieved from this dentist for many years. I would highly recommend her on every level!

Retired and on a fixed income and after seeing 3 other dentists for quotes ranging from $5,000 to $16,000 for ground down teeth which were transparent , I choose Dr Vu. The restoration Dr Vu did for my friend who was in a terrible accident was beautiful and she came highly recommended. So I drive 2-1/2 hours from my home in south Jersey each appointment to save money and it is totally worth it. Dr Vu uses a lab in Los Angeles for porcelain crowns so my friends who notice my transformation ask to see my "Hollywood choppers" and I've had many unsolicited compliments from complete strangers. She does fabulous work and I highly recommend her. She's also a very nice person.

Dr. Vu is the best dentist I've had in decades. She is careful, concerned, professional and does excellent work. I've been to top-rated dentists in Manhattan, where I live part of the time; their egos and attitudes convey greatness, but their work does not. Dr. Vu holds herself to the highest standards, and it shows, including in my mouth!

My recent visit to Doctor Vu's was my first visit with her. I am a person who suffers from dental phobia. From the moment stepping into her office, to the moment I left, I was so at ease. From the front desk to the dental assistants and Dr. Vu, it was all a great experience. I am actually looking forward to my next visit in six months! Amazing!! Dr. Vu is compassionate as well as straight forward. Her ability to put you at ease as well as work gently, explaining every step of the way is wonderful.

Her staff is very professional yet they make you feel at ease and comfortable, very friendly. I travel about an hour just to see Dr. Vu. I would recommend Dr. Vu for your dental needs. She’s the best.

I am surprised to even see a negative comment on here about Dr. Vu....I have to firmly disagree with the last poster because in my opinion Dr. Vu is excellent! Not only is her work always been above and beyond, I’ve never had a bad experience being with her. She knows how to make me feel comfortable when I’m in the chair and is just a warm person all around. For someone who dreads the dentist she definitely makes my experience that much easier! She’s honest, nice and great at what she does! What more could you ask for in a dentist!?

Went to Dr Vu for a long time, but never had any major dental work done until a year and a half ago. I spent thousands of dollars and am not happy with the work that was done. Had to have a bridge removed to fix a cavity which turned into a root canal and then the tooth cracking and having to be removed. Then she made a bridge which was an extended tooth. As she was going to place the bridge I told her it hurt. She said it was the dentin. Well after that she had to do a root canal through the new bridge. On the other side she said I needed an old filling replaced. She had to do a root canal there too and put a crown, and because there is now a pocket it gets infected on and off. Needless to say I switched dentists.

Dr Vu is fantastic! We travel from Sparta to see her and she is definitely worth the trip! Extremely knowledgeable and thorough with all her work. We love Laurie the hygienist and Lorie and Amina are terrific as well!

Outstanding service. I only go to her to get my needs done.
