Dr. Maxwell S Beattie

My experience was not a very pleasant one. Let me start off with, I do have major anxiety when it comes to dental offices. I have had some pretty bad experiences. The ease of getting in quickly was nice. (But now raises a red flag to me, because of the servoce provided) The lady on the phone Kate, I believe her name was, was very sweet. She assured me they would provide me an RX for my anxiousness. The office was nice, seemed clean. However, when it came down to get to business. There was no compassion for the patient. He was very "dry" I was still very nervous even after taking the two perscribed nervous pills. He talked to his assistants the whole time, mostly of them selves and after work activites. Never stopped to ask how I was doing, never explained anything to me, nor did the assistants. I did not appreciate the assistants standing on the side of the dr. Playing with the drill tips she was handing off to the dentist, right infront of my face. At one point after being… all numbed up, I could still feel almost a burning sensation up to my temple and through my left nostril. He had to get me another numbing shot. But didnt seem to thrilled about it. (Lack of compassion) So there is definately some improvement to be made to be a suscessful dentist. These dental visits aren't cheap. I feel as if I was just another number! I got halfway home and my left nostril started pouring blood, along with a burning sensation. Assuming he knicked something in my sinus cavity. But I definately wont be calling back to even find out why. I truely felt awful leaving that place and that is one of the reason I have dental anxiety, from the dentist who treat you as a number! I most certainly wont be back. I hope he takes this review and applys some much needed change so he can provide better care!
