Dr. Maxwell Takai Frank, MD

Dr. Frank is unethical and jeopardizes patient safety for ego and monetary gain. Demand a different doctor if you or your loved one actually wants to get better.

Do not go to this doctor if you are truly seeking legit medical help. My son was sent to him for a 3 day observation for medical help. Dr. Frank released him after a few hours. He did no research on my son and never contacted his primary doctor for why my son what there.

I had a lot of experiences in hospitals as I had a long bout of agitated depression. Dr frank was the only doctor in all my hospitalizations that tried to trick me to take a medicine that I knew was making me sick. No good doctor would ever try to trick a patient into doing things the patient was terrified to do. But I had been warned on this trick early on. Failing that he called my family who demanded an immediate discharge

Works at the Emerson Hospital Psych Ward and is the most uncompassionate dr I have ever met. Don't go to Emerson because you will be stuck with him and you will not get better, mentally or physically. He just zombies you with drugs and doesn't listen to you.

The last reviewer said max frank is under reviews for some of his tactics. He should be under scrutiny all the time. He botched my case too. How he got his job is a mystery

Granted, I am different and met Dr. Frank in the hospital under very difficult circumstances. With a lot of med allergies he was anxious to help and we seemed to agree. But when, on the 5th day I collapsed on the med, I knew I could not take it. They called it anxiety but I had enough experience to know better. Thinking Dr. Frank would understand, as other doctors have, I was almost tricked into taking it. Fortunately other mental health practitioners had warned me of this trap. I even offered to go back onto other meds that had worked but had been less intolerable than this one. But no - it had to be this one. Frightened, my son called the doctor and asked for a discharge. I now have two therapists working two days a week to help me get over my experience with Dr. Frank. If he is helping you by all means keep him but I find him to be a frightening intolerable bully that I hope I never meet again.

He is a little odd, but very good and caring. He really helped me.
