Dr. Maxwell Rabson Rovner, MD

Randomly, I googled Dr Rovner to see where he ended up. As a former classmate of his, I can vouch that all of these positive reviews are “spot on” with what I saw as a classmate!

This guy's fun to talk to but he's also hella smart doctor. I'm laughing half the time because he's really funny but I'm also understanding myself better and my relationships etc because all his questions and discussion.You'll see.

Our 20-year-old son had crippling OCD and that led him to become profoundly depressed. The way things were going, we figured we had one chance to help our son before it was too late. We decided to send him to Dr. Rovner and that’s when everything changed. Through psychotherapy and medication, Dr. Rovner turned it all around. The OCD symptoms are now 99 percent gone and the depression has lifted. We are very grateful.

Dr. Rovner returns my calls and e-mail messages absurdly fast. It’s actually a joke between my wife and me: after I send him an e-mail or leave a voicemail message, how fast will I hear back from him. He actually cares about how I’m doing and, when it comes to a psychiatrist (or any kind of doctor), that makes all the difference. Extremely strong recommend.

Not only has he been smart, funny, and compassionate, Dr. Rovner has gone above and beyond to help me manage my anxiety, depression, etc. I cannot tell you how grateful I am for his support and insight.

What a nice guy! His sense of humor's hilarious. He's also the smartest MD I've come across. This rating's a no-brainer -- Five Stars.

In addition to being brilliant and creative, Dr. Rovner is open and approachable; he allows his real person to come through. I'm only seeing him for medication management, but I think he'd make a great therapist as well.

My depression is much better because of Dr. Rovner. But, perhaps more importantly -- and I hate to admit this -- seeing how responsive Dr. Rovner was whenever I contacted him has led me to become much more accessible to my own patients. He's just a lot more dedicated than most doctors are and I've been inspired by his example.

I’ve never had a doctor return my calls and e-mail messages as quickly as Dr. Rovner does. He’s tremendously dedicated and really generous with his time. I’m lucky to have found him.
