Dr. May Chambers, MD

I saw Dr. Chambers for my annual exam and I was having some difficulty with my birth control. I had visited a doctor before Dr. Chambers and they offered no solutions so it was such a relief to be told information that really could help. I felt so comfortable around her that I even called her back with a question three months later and she was really kind about it. She is Italian for sure, fairly intense, but she is clearly a doctor for the right reasons, she loves her patients.

I have been followed Dr. Chambers to her different offices, and there is no one else I would rather see. She is so light hearted, I'm usually laughing through the appointment. When there are times to be serious (through my first pregnancy, she is so intelligent, I feel very safe). I recommend her to all my friends, and any wait to get an appointment is totally worth it.

I was new to Utah and went to Dr.Chambers for a routine female check up. She brushed off all concerns that I had, gave a very quick exam, and said that I needed to have a pelvic ultra sound. I got the pelvic ultra sound and when she consulted with me after, she said things are really messed up down there. You need to have a hysterectomy. I asked a few more questions to try to get more information but she didn't want to be bothered by my questions and gave very vague answers. I finally requested a copy of the ultra sound report to examine myself. Upon examining the records of my two brief visits, I found that Dr Chambers had filled in wrong information for my health history. It seemed like she had mixed me up with another patient. When I took the reports and the needed corrections back to the office, I was told that corrections couldn't be made unless I brought documentation to prove that the information was wrong. (How do you provide documentation to prove that you have never smoked a… in your life?) After much discussion, they finally informed me that I could make an appointment to see Dr. Chambers to request that she write an addendum to my records. Needless to say, I am getting a second opinion and definitely finding a different doctor.

I started going to Dr Chambers with my third pregnancy, i had recently moved and LOVED my previous Dr. I tried talking to her abut my history of Pre-Term Delivery, and she never once tried to stop my Labor, which started at 33 weeks. It was always the on call Dr. that showed up at the Hospital, and Dr Chambers Never Checked on me later. Dr Chambers always seemed Rushed and Fidgety. She would ask me if i had any Questions as the door was open and she was leaving. She did not show up to deliver my baby either. I was so Happy to Switch, i now have an amazing Dr.

Dr. Chambers provided me with excellent care. She is very knowledgeable and caring. I have been seeing her for 8 years. She is very intuitive and provides good advice and her skills as a surgeon are excellent.

I saw Dr Chambers as a new patient after 2 sucessful pregnancies and 2 miscarriages. I was pergnant and had started spotting. After an ultrasound showed a lump she decided it was eptopic and encouraged medication to abort the baby. I refused despite her encouragment. Turns out it was the lump on the overy that feeds the pregnancy (perfectly normal). She had done a very painful and intrusive internal exam. I lost the baby and her advice was...well try again. Exact words!

I love the fact that she doesn't waste my time, and is such an experienced doctor that she can get right to the point, while still allowing me to express my needs/concerns. As long as you come prepared with any questions you will get a thorough response. Her personality is quick, intense, and hilarious--while remaining insanely brilliant. I have had excellent care through three different pregnancies and love the new laid back community at her new location is west valley.

I went to Dr. Chambers for my first pregnancy. She always seemed stressed and in a hurry and not very interested in answering questions. I changed Dr's for my second pregnancy. 14 months after I stopped going to Dr. Chambers, my new doctor diagnosed me with cervical cancer. I called Dr. Chambers' office, in tears, to retrieve my records and discuss ask questions, wondering if there was anything I should have been concerned about in my care with her (I had been going to her for almost 10 years). She was not there and I left a tearful message explaining the situation and asking her to call me back. When I did not hear from her, I went to the office and got copies of my records. I asked to speak, once again, to Dr. Chambers and she was not there. I left another message (crying, this time in person) explaining the situation and asked her to call me back. She never called after either message.
