Excellent doctor, spent time to explain what, how, and when.

Dr Maya Kaura isTHE most professional Doctor that have ever had!!...She isREALLY A WONDERFUL DOCTOR!! ...SHE is very CONCERNED about my health. she is conciencous about my health..She listens to what I say and pays attention to all my concerns and lets meknow how my bodywrks when i have problem ..She checks my chart to make sure I am o the right medicines also makes sure I am up to date on my shots flu and othrs.. When I leave a message with her staff with a question she always gets back to me that same aftenoon!!! If I need a reference she knows who best to send/refer me to. and makes sure I get the authorition ASAP. Dr. Kaura's offfice staff/nurse's are very very kind and very helpfull if I just have a question ..they get me an answer veryfast........They neverkeep me holding on line but maybe a second or two........They all are very courteous in that office!!

Dr. Kaura is a compassionate primary care doctor that is knowledgeable in her medical expertise. She recognizes the need for outside referrals and her office (Patty) is effective in working with various insurance plans to speed up the referral process. I have been seeing Dr. Kaura for many years and have referred my friends, co-workers and mother to her. Dr. Kaura is The Dr. Marcus Welby, in my book.

I love Dr. Kaura. She is a no nonsense doc; just tells it like it is. So is one of her assistants; Patty. Am having to use my husbands health insurance now. Not sure if I can have Dr. Laura so I refuse to go to another doctor until health insurance approves who I want; ONLY Dr. Kaura! She's taken great care of me and both of my sons. Not going to anyone else! Period

I wanted to get a routine physical and chose her as my new doctor since i just moved to the area. She told me anyone under 40 really doesn't need a physical (which I've never heard before). She went through the motions fairly quickly, I told her I recently got a bloodtest from my OB/GYN. I had to get the test and forward to her. She said she would check what they ran and call me to schedule an additional test. Never heard from her again. Terrible experience, would not recommend to anyone.

Really love the staff in Dana Point, all referrals were completed within record time, best Dr / Dr's office I have been in over the last 45 years, I am now 68 and very healthy.

Did not properly diagnose my neck tumor which was thyroid cancer, luckily I had other medical intervention. Please be wary of any growth on your neck and get at least two opinions.
