Maya Leines, FNP-BC

Maya Leines, FNP-C, has been dedicated to healthcare for over 30 years, beginning her career as a registered nurse before advancing her education to become a Family Nurse Practitioner. Inspired by her grandfather, a physician who practiced in India, Maya developed a deep respect for medicine and a passion for guiding patients through their health journeys. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Western Governors University and later completed her Master of Nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner focus at the University of North Georgia.

Maya is committed to patient-centered care, believing in the power of collaboration and education to help individuals achieve their best health. She finds great fulfillment in listening to her patients’ unique health histories and tailoring care plans to their specific needs. With a special interest in cardiology, endocrinology, and allergy management, she is dedicated to empowering her patients with knowledge so they feel confident in …managing their health. She is also DOT certified, allowing her to further expand her impact in patient care.

Outside of work, Maya enjoys expressing herself through music, playing guitar, and singing contemporary folk, bluegrass, blues, and Americana. An avid outdoors enthusiast, she loves hiking, biking, skiing, and camping. She also finds joy in gardening, staying active, and playing pool. Most of all, she cherishes time spent with her family, friends, and pets.
