Dr. Maya Kiison Mitchell, MD

I had my first appointment with Dr. Mitchell today and she was absolutely fantastic. She came in smiling and was so friendly/kind. I felt listened to and as though my time was valued. She possesses a wonderful bedside manner and her nurse... exceptional! I couldn't have chosen a better MD.

I want to say that Dr. Mitchell's attitude that she knows it all, can make you feel like your stupid or you don't understand what your talking about. Everything you say is wrong and she almost makes fun of you in your face. Wow I was disappointed at her bed side manner. I came in for some help and left feeling made fun of. I guess if you ask a question just don't give your point of view or your knowledge of what you think it is because you might get told your wrong and that what your plan might be, won't work. Im a strong believer in god and natural medicine and she's not. I guess I'll be looking for another doctor that can at least understand me and even if she had a better idea she should be sensitive to my wants and needs. Don't make people feel like there ideas about there own heath is a bad idea, simply try to incorporate your's along with it.

Dr Mitchel has no bedside manner, does not talk to patients on phone and delegates all to her nurses. I am very disappointed at her and how she underestimates her patient's knowledge.
