Dr. Maya T Nimgaonkar, MD

I like her so far. But her staff are not very competent and they are rude. They also didn’t update my pharmacy so guess what? I had to go to two pharmacies and wait all day cause my pharmacy was not updated. I gave them my new one. No excuse for that.

I really thought this was quite good. Very friendly and kind. However her staff is very very different. I felt a cold air overwhelm me. Thought it was just the check in girl, nope. It was basically everyone I came across. They act as if they are doing you a huge favor and there are chips on the shoulder. So I’m not sure if I will be staying here.

This doctor was the worst experience we could ever had . SHE prescribed my mom with a wrong medication that could HAVE BE fatal SINCE HER BLOOD PRESSURE WAS HIGH be the next day had to comeback to her office so she can see her again to change the medicine. this person was rude, unpolite, negligent, never said Hi or Goodbye. WE had to beg for an explanation and she gave none. by todays date i dont know why she changed my moms medicine and why she prescribed a wrong one also. she realized of her mistake and just keept the medicine my mom has been taking for years. and on top of that she left us in that room after 25 min waiting a nurse opened the door an realized we still at the office still. never said you are done, or you can go and pick up the new prescription. WORST DOCTOR I EVER SEEN IN MY ENTIRE LIFE

Unfortunetly my visit was a waste of time with this doctor. She did not take the time to listen to me, nor did she take my concerns seriously. I was very dissapointed.

The doctor didn't address the pain experienced at all, didn't explain what tests they were ordering, nor that they typically aren't covered by insurance. They refused to add any other diagnosis codes to help us and lied by telling us they gave us paperwork that explained everything. We won't be going back. The doctor and nurse at this office are rude and uncaring.

Unfortunately, UPMC policies aren't great. She is too rushed. I know that isn't her fault. She used to spend a lot more time with people.
