Dr. Maya Kolipakam Thosani

I went to Dr. Thosani for some chronic hive issues I have been having. She seems like she is a good doctor but she had no patience to hear me out. I saw her twice and both times she said take antihistamines and your body will resolve this issue. Well 9 months later it has not got better. She showed zero interest or gave zero suggestions on testing or possible ways to pin point the issue. If you have an issue that requires true medical investigation and a doctor that likes to take on new challenges to solve them DO NOT go to her.

Dr Thosani is a great "seamstress". She explained thoroughly, was pleasant in presentation and conversation, and precise and thorough in her care. Thank you Dr Thosani. a thankful patient

After a 40 minute wait I got to see Dr. Thosani who spoke to me in an arrogant manner. Instead of calming me down about the mohs procedure, she made the recovery sound so intimidating and long. Even the manner in which she 'invited' me to ask questions was unpleasant and her answers were arrogant and impatient. The office staff was far from being nice, and her nurse was probably the least compassionate nurse I've ever met. She seemed like a very unhappy camper and was sour and grumpy. The one right decision I've made following this visit is to NEVER come back and seek another mohs surgeon, which I did! I saw him three days ago for a consult and had the mohs surgery the next day. Unlike Dr. Thosani, he was not only a true pro, but pleasant, friendly, compassionate, and reassuring. He made not only the consult but also the surgery itself as least unpleasant as possible. My 5 cents - don't settle for a physician that doesn't "feel right" to you - Dr. Thosani definitely did NOT feel right… to me.

First time with Dr. Thosani. She is compassionate, thorough, tells you what she is about to do. Concerned about how you feel. Probably one of the best doctors I have been too in a long time. Don't let her young looks fool you, she is one of the best. Had skin cancer removed.
