Dr. Mayer Tenenhaus, MD

I have had many surgeries on my face due to skin cancer. Each time I have had Dr Tennenhaus repair my incisions after having Mohs . He is not only an amazing plastic surgeon, but he is so kind and caring. I never feel rushed when visiting him ; he gives you his full attention and speaks to you on a level that you can understand. I would not go to anyone other than Dr Tennenhaus for plastic surgery on my face. He’s the best!!

Dr. Tenenhaus may be a fine physician, but the scheduling and admin system surrounding him is broken. You are first required to register with the UCSD system (major privacy concerns) just to get an appointment for a consult. In my case there was almost a month delay for the appointment. The day before the appointment Dr. Tenenhaus' office called to reschedule for an additional two weeks delay, and informed me that the previously "free" consultation would cost $130, payable to UCSD. I cancelled and will avoid ever using the UCSD Health System. Just wish I could get my registration info back out of their broken system as well.
