She sugar coats nothing. Very knowledgable. Answers my questions. No issues with her at all.

I have so many things to say about Dr. El-Dairi and her staff, and they are not good! I was referred to her by my hometown doctor to monitor a condition. Every moment I had has been stressful dealing with Duke Eye center. The staff was unfriendly and not helpful. Dr. El-Dairi was very rude and spent hardly any time with me. She did not explain why she was ordering tests and what the results meant. I had to send a letter requesting some communication from her in which was returned with a call from a resident. I will say the residents were very knowledgeable and helpful. In addition to the lack of communication and lack of time spent with me her attitude was very negative. She was judgemental of the fact that I was not continuing my education past college - is that really any of her business? I also saw her get into arguments with administrative personnel. My reason for writing this review now is that I was trying to obtain a physician referral and am getting ZERO response from… anyone. I have called to leave several messages and faxed over a request. Seriously, this is your job as a healthcare provider. Patients should be treated like people and not just case numbers for further research. I am fed up!
