Dr. Mazen Alsatie, MD

I did have a good experience w/ Dr. Alsatie. He did take the time to explain my condition and I am working on a resolution. I was not happy with Dr. Swingley, so I'm glad the referral went to Dr Alsatie.

He solved my immediate problem in the ER but I also needed a long term GI referral. He didn't act like he was taking patients as he was too busy with the ER. Perhaps another doctor in the practice could help. The office staff was less than helpful. They are not available to even answer their phone during normal office hours, instead wanting to call you back. I am unable to receive calls when I'm at work so it took me more than a week to get test results by getting lucky when they called me back to be on a late lunch break. I will not be going back to any office of this practice. Dr. Alsati was fine, but lacked the interest in following up with me. Perhaps that's just the nature of being an ER doc. Somewhat disappointing.

I had stomach pain after a colonoscopy and Dr Alsatie failed to return my calls. His assistant told me to go to the emergency room because Dr Alsatie was too busy to talk with me. A year later I still have pain resulting from the procedure
