Dr. Mazen Kattih, MD

He does not take the time to listen to his patients. He rushes through appointments and tells you what he will and won't do. He is difficult to understand and is not clear on giving test results. I will be seeking a 2nd opinion.

I'm going to be completely honest here. This doctor truly does not care about his patients. I was referred to him from advent hospital. When he first came in the room he did not confirm my name or date of birth. Before he even introduced himself he said this is what I'm going to do and not going to do. I quote "Any stomach pains, Internal or external hemroids you have is not my problem it's your primary doctors problem and to just let them bleed." I was absolutely shocked that this is how the start of my appointment was going. He then proceeded to tell me " I just need yes or no answers from you" and would not let me explain why I was even there and needed help. He constantly cut me off and spoke over me. Spoke to me in a condescending tone after I said I would like to be able to advocate for myself without him interrupting me or speaking to me like I was a child. After I said that he stopped speaking to me and started speaking to my spouse as if he was the patient. This doctor then… proceeded to tell my spouse he doesn't do endoscopy and colonoscopys same day and that If I didn't like It oh well find someone else. Their was no effort of care, understanding or empathy and his behavior made me extremely uncomfortable. If he doesn't care about his patients well being while awake and conscious why would anyone feel safe that he is going to care or respect the patients while they are getting procedures done?. I canceled any appointments and follow ups with this doctor. I would never recommend him to anyone and seriously think that he needs a recourse in patients care. I work healthcare as well and would never speak to any patients the way he spoke to me. HE WOULD HAVE A ZERO IF I COULD RATE THAT

Worst doctor ever!

All that dirty smelly doctor wanted to do is schedule a colonoscopy? I came in for acid reflux ? He spoke over me when I tried to ask questions. He was only interested in getting paid. Never even was in the office with me for even 3 minutes. Said he suggested I schedule surgery for having a chip implanted in my chest without ever even suggesting a scope of my esophagusas. And the right back to wanting to schedule time to look up my butt? I felt violated. They do not take any payment except cash and I will be reporting that to my accountant so I can have him reported to the IRS - The receptionist was completely out of it slurring her words could not focus. I know it is hard to hire good help but stoned unfocused slurring her words unable to produce a receipt? I would never waste a dime on this so called doctor ever again. I know when I am talking to someone who is not all there and that woman in the bright orange doo rag was out of it.

this man is no doctor he is a dirty old creepy dude that smells bad and has no intentions of rendering a receipt for services rendered very unprofessional. Will never go waste my time here. Very dirty office no eye contact from the girls behind the desk only takes cash I should have known he was just a scam doctor. Lesson learned. Never again

Is there no regularity agency that over sees doctors? He was the worst doctor I have ever seen. He is a very lazy man, so overweight he can't walk his own hallway without sweating, breathing stinky breath all over and waddling. Absolutely the worst experience of my life. He was with me less than 3 minutes charged me 250 and actually insisted on it being paid in cash?

For less than a 3 minute appointment for my acid reflux the doctor had bad breath dirty hair a dirty office charged $250.00 and all he wanted to do is a colonoscopy? I asked what does a my butt have to do with my acid reflux? The medicine for the acid reflux's normal side effect is constipation? He spoke over me didn't answer questions. Whispered when he talked. Talked in circles never making any sense. Told me he could do the procedure there in his office but said he wanted me to go to Brandon Regional for a colonoscopy and they could decide what if anything can be done for my reflux and actually in a 3 minute conversation said I was going to need surgery for my reflux and a chip implanted in my chest? How do you determine that in less than 3 minutes of only the doctors voice being the one spoken? If you are ever referred to this office please do yourself a favor and check out the office and staff first. The girl behind the counter in the doo rag (yes a doo rag bright orange) was high… as a kite. I went to public schools and am 55 I know when someone I'm talking to is high and she was high.

NEVER RECOMMEND EVEN ONE STAR,HE WAS VERY RUDE,POOR ATTITUDE AND NO PATIENCE TO LISTEN TO THE PATIENT,WORST DOCTOR I EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE, JUST WONDERING HOW HE BECOME A DOCTOR.

I visit Dr. Kattih on three occasion. I normally do not go by reviews, however in the case BEWARE. He is very unprofessional. He expressed to me that he was not perfect (meaning he does not know everything) and what did I want him to do about my condition? I told him he was the DOCTOR, not me!!! He very rude and abrasive. Do not seek his office for help!

I see someone else had the same issue; but at least you got a phone call to tell you; I didn't even get that; That already tells me you are not customer friendly; I will just have to find another one. All, this office only accept Cash or Checks; I am in the 21st century, I don't carry either; heck I don't know when the last time I even wrote a check :)
