Dr Mazhar Ali Jakhro

As I waited on hold to talk to the office manager Lori in Dr. Jakhro’s office, I listened to their promise of providing guidance, compassion, and hope. I am sad to announce we received none of those things from Dr. Jakhro’s office. We were absolutely appalled at our treatment by this doctor and wish we had read these reviews first. We understand this is a stressful time for all, but no one should be spoken to the way he did to us and I am honestly shocked that he is still practicing. Throughout our entire Telehealth, he spoke over my husband, first telling my husband he “never had” the disease he most certainly did as a child and when my husband said it was in his medical records, Jakhro changed to “well you haven’t had this disease recently enough to matter” - it is a rare disease one can only get AS A CHILD, so obviously instead of saying “I’m not familiar with that disease, can you tell me more about it or let me look it up?” Dr. Jakhro just spewed out the first thing he could… think of, which is so dangerous. When we pressed about how his former procedures could possibly affect him, Dr. Jakhro then admitted that his office has LOST our medical records, but if my husband was worried about his health he could order a round of expensive tests and procedures that quite honestly, we don’t know if doing those will be safe for him given his condition!! There was zero care for my husband as a patient-just literally yelling over us, admitting to losing his records and ordering expensive tests. The cherry on top? We shared our experience with another person that had used this “doctor” to see if this was normal behavior or maybe just a bad day for him, and learned that while this person was struggling with addiction JAKHRO WAS THE ONE THEY WENT TO AND GOT WHATEVER THEY WANTED PRESCRIBED. Clearly, this man doesn’t care about his patients. It’s obvious all he cares about is money and doesn’t actually want to help people or solve their problems. If he did, he’d at least start by showing an ounce of the kindness, compassion or respect that is so preached about delivering in their waiting message. Or, you know, listen to patients instead of talking over them and keep decent track of their medical records. Did he ever write the letter so my husband could be safer at work? Nope. Two weeks of chasing down his medical records, calling daily, to FINALLY show him proof of my husband’s disease so he’d write a letter so my husband could remain isolated at work only to hear “You didn’t have this recently”. He clearly did zero research on what Kawasaki is or how it can affect someone. Shame on you, “Dr.” JAHKRO. You clearly have never heard of preventative medicine.

Disappointing

He does not listen. Seems to have limited understanding of English language. Very poor interpersonal skills.

Went to this Dr. for swollen lymph glands. He told me to shower more and keep my armpits dry? I am a 55 year old female in menopause. really? Bad healthcare from a foreigner.

great family doctor nice skills and pleasant personality easily to acess, he calls back for lab results. no problems with refills
