I worked with Dr. Maas for nearly a year for psychiatry and medication management, but she abruptly became unreachable. She had agreed to schedule a follow-up appointment for October, as I was unable to do so through the patient portal. However, she never followed through. From that point on, she was completely unresponsive. I sent multiple emails, messages, and voicemails requesting an appointment and prescription refills, but after three weeks of silence, I had no choice but to find a new provider on short notice as my medication was running out. Dr. Maas’s sudden disappearance, without any notification to her patients, was both unprofessional and distressing. Being left without support or necessary medication in the midst of treatment was a deeply unsettling experience. I hope others are spared the anxiety and disruption that came from this abrupt abandonment. Very disappointing and unacceptable.

My son has been seeing Dr. Maas for severe ADHD and anxiety in IL. Over the last month we have been trying to reach her almost daily via phone and email in order to see her for my son?s medication management. We eventually got to the point where we had less than 3 days of medication left and scrambled to find a new Dr. to help us. Come to find out she move to MI and never told her patients or referred their care. Just completely abandoned hundreds of children and families who were dependent on her for psychiatry and medication management. This is completely unethical and unprofessional. She should lose her license. Avoid at all costs so that this doesn’t happen to you!
