I don’t have enough characters to adequately convey how disheartening and rude Dr. Meatta is. Long story short, I was a patient of hers for about 14 months and each month I would tell her I’m getting more and more scared that I’m going to take my own life because of the physical pain I’m experiencing. This is the safe person we’re supposed to tell these things to, and not only did she not receive it well, but she made fun of me. Actually laughed out loud. Thankfully, I did record our interaction and I’ve submitted a formal complaint to the medical board. I had told her over 14 times that my passive suicidal ideations were turning active and I needed help. When I terminated her care, she messaged the next Dr that I was a huge pill popper and drug seeker. I don’t take any pain meds whatsoever. I used to have a pain pump, but I never controlled the dosage. Over a year and all she managed to do was put me on Emg. A drug I didn’t want or ask for. Stay far away, she cannot be trusted.
