Dr. Meena Goil Charan, MD

I had an appointment to discuss my blood results, during the appointment I asked her another (health related) question. She refused to answer and told me that I MUST schedule another appointment to discuss this issue. Every time I have more than one question she wants me to schedule another appointment. That is fraud and I will make sure my insurance company knows that. If you have any gastro issues she refers you to her husband! To me that making money! I had cold this winter and saw her because I didn't feel good (obviously) she prescribed me some medication and I asked her for work excuse, for one day (I work outside) she refused to give me that excuse...... She wants you to keep coming to her so that she can bill your insurance!!!!!!

I am yet to find a doctor as dedicated as her. She listens, cares and will go all the way to help you if you have a problem. Appointments are super easy. She responds to your questions quickly. Will recommended her to any one. My extended family goes to her and everyone raves about her.

I love this doctor. She takes her time and listens. Been struggling with thyroid issues but she is getting to the cause instead of feeding me pills.

We did not have a good experienceI went for a simple trouble, and I was prescribed unnecessary diagnostic tests.I was also not able to choose the lab as they themselves booked the appointment for the lab test in a particular hospital. I ended up paying in thousands for the diagnostic test which was not even necessary. This brought us a doubt if at all they have have some profit in recommending the patient to the hospital/labs!Another thing which we did not like is the front office staff (at the reception) who was very rude. We felt she was rude to a particular race of people.The other staff who attends the patient before seeing the doctor was very friendly and helpful.

Dr. Charan is a very nice person. However, there are some inconsistencies that made me uncomfortable. She filled out a form to have my younger child evaluated for PT, then refused to write a script when he qualified. She refused to refill my depression medication with only having met me once and she referred my oldest child to the wrong type of doctor for her ADHD.

Dr Charan and Deb are amazing!!! You won't find a healthcare provider who is more dedicated or caring - the staff has gone well above what is expected to treat me and my entire family! While Dr. Charan doesn't always have the answer - she doesn't stop til she does. She is also available on call in evenings and weekends! We love Charan Family Medicine (and her husband is a wonderful care GI doc as well)!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Unfriendly receptionist!Even follow up visits are expensive!Unnecessary tests being prescribed in the name of diagnosis.

Dr. Charan has her own practice, so you know who you will be seeing every time. I can call with a question in the morning, and be seen by the afternoon. I trust and respect her opinion, and in return she listens to and respects our family's concerns...right down to the smallest among us.

Great Dr. if you have kids, too. Always takes us if I have a question. Great, small office.
