It is so relieving to read bad reviews of this Evil APATHETIC UNPROFESSIONAL so called doctor! AND THE SAME EXACT ISSUES I HAVE HAD! Look at the bad reviews and how everyone appears to use the same terminology Of how to explain this person! Not only does she not have the respect, care and concern to call YOU AS AN ADULT PATIENT BACK HERSELF-but neither does her staff! 24 hours later of calling crying and in panic mode as well as feeling completely fatigued, lethargic, moody, emotional, depressed, agitation and sheer aggravation -her receptionist nor office employees called me back -to tell me “nothing is wrong, continue treatment as it has been treated.” REALLY?? Not one call to at least inform me of her “diagnosis”?? Wow! This also happened 6 or so months ago-I do not know why over a year and a half I have continued with her and her office but today about 10 minutes ago was THE END!! I refuse to have any so called medical professional ignore my issues and disregard my severe medical… ailments that are not only hindering my relationships but also my work-AS I AM A MANAGER ! How dare you claim professional medical doctor! I am beyond appalled as I have never had to hear employees apologize so often for their boss/doctor not having the respect to call me back personally and discuss my serious concerns! First time ever deciding to write a bad review-as I felt OBLIGATED TO INFORM OTHERS OF MEDICAL NEGLECT AND FUTURE WORSENED ISSUES! How dare u all! You should have your licenses taken away! Having worked for doctors in the past-this was beyond malpractice in many ways! Please do not fall prey! Because now I have to find another medical doctor as well as deal with the enhanced issues with my Hypothyroidism as my PCP would prefer me see another specialist! Please save yourself time and suffering and seek a medical doctor who cares and wants to assist you in managing your thyroid disease issues! And to her office-do not even bother attempting to contact me-as I have already stated my concerns to many of your personal assistants and office staff with them again-apologizing on her behalf. Quite pathetic !

But, she is not a very nice person. Arrogant and condescending. Her bedside manner is zilch. Two visits were enough.

I have been a patient of Dr. Khan's for about 6 years now. Dr. Khan has been extremely helpful in adjusting my medication as my levels require. She takes the time to explain what she believes is going on and follows up with a phone call if the results show anything different from what she has anticipated. She asks thorough questions at each appointment and listens to my responses, adjusting her treatment plan. I would definitely recommend her to anyone in need of a GREAT endocrinologist.

Great experience! She was professional and caring and really took the time to go over everything with me in detail. Would highly recommend her!!

Dr. Kahn treated me as though she thought I was wasting her time. Though my thyroid blood-work came back normal, I was experiencing rapid weight gain (while following a balanced diet and exercising), exhaustion, depression, and fatigue. At my insistence, and thanks to the thoroughness of my GP, she ran tests and suggested an ultrasound of my thyroid. Then she told me to come back in 6-months. My symptoms became worse. And finally, a year after my initial visit, she ran a glucose tolerance test, finally diagnosing me as insulin resistance, which my GYN confirmed as related to PCOS. Dr. Kahn put me on Metformin, but totally failed to inform me of its side affects, including the possibility of causing hypoglycemia. Luckily, when I did experience hypoglycemia as a result of the metformin, I was not in my car. I was very disappointed in the time it took for an accurate diagnosis, and in her bedside manner. She made me feel as if I was wasting her time. Perhaps she should stick to research… and leave patient care to someone more interested in making people feel better.

It took my GP to interpret my lab results and declare that I was being severly undertreated for my underactive thyroid. GP also determined that I had Autoimmune hypothyroid. Dr. Kahn only tested t4 and tsh, no antibodies. Sad, Very Sad!
