Dr. Meena Said, MD

Dr. Said is definitely a competent surgeon; however, there was an insufficient amount of communication provided both before and after the surgery. Specifically, there was confusion on the process leading up to the surgery e.g. thought I was going to be staying at the hospital but instead left very sick as an "out-patient". Secondly, I had to literally track her down via other doctors to arrange for a post-op visit (where I was essentially told that there was no reason to further contact her). Unfortunately, this is not my first surgery and I am used to working with Doctors that provide significantly more personal attention and follow up.

This young surgeon saved my life. She's on the cutting edge in terms of knowledge, skill sets and technology... Forget the couple of naysayers here... Anyone who's been under the knife with Meena Said will tell you she's the best! Removed my thyroid completely and three years later I'm cancer free and I often challenge people to find my scar. If you need Thyroid surgery you'd be a fool to go anywhere else but to Meena Said and her team. AWESOME!

Just Wow!!! Not only is she beautiful, intelligent, and experienced, she also makes sure you are completely comfortable and all your concerns are addressed. Couldn't have asked for a more amazing surgeon!!! She is very picky about her tools and a perfectionist about her job. First time ever that I can say I felt completely comfortable going into surgery!!!

I saw Dr. Said for surgery to have my gallbladder removed. She is a fantastic surgeon who also cares about her patients. I am so grateful that I was referred to her.

She is an excellent surgeon with an outstanding surgery record. She has trained at UCLA and Mount Sinai in New York and specializes in complex, delicate endocrine surgeries along with her general surgery qualifications. Dr. Said is amongst the few surgeons with her specialty in West Los Angeles. I found her to be very reliable, thorough, and knowledgeable. Her bedside manner is wonderful. Dr. Said is very attentive in her patient follow-ups. She is dependable and committed to her patients.
