Dr. Meera Gupta, MD

Dr. Gupta, not only rushed us through our appointment, but refused to actually take a look at a rash my daughter has had for two years. (She originally diagnosed it as spider bites). Both my daughter and I felt very uncomfortable with her bedside manner and her diagnosis. She missed two other issues she was having and attributed all of her problems to allergies (she actually has allergies, a cold, a virus, and an ear infection). We had to go back two days later and saw Dr. Pulete who was amazing and very thoughtful. I do not recommend Dr. Gupta at all!

Dr. Gupta is a wonderful pediatrician and is thorough and extremely knowledgeable. We have been going to her for years and our kids love her. She is kind and very gentle. Such a special and talented lady.

This practice, Morristown Pediatrics has recently switched to a new Healthcare Information Technology system. Every doctor and NP in the practice, including Dr. Gupta, carries a giant laptop the size of a garbage can lid into the exam room. My first problem with this is that the laptop was clearly being carried all over the place and getting covered with other patients germs and frankly, aetting down a 15 lb laptop next to a newborn is dangerous, Tak tsk. Dr. Gupta came highly recommended but she clearly struggles with the new system and was distracted by her frustration with it on each of our visits with our newborn. She spent more time complaoning about the system than on us or our child. She was so inept with it she had to ask us each visit how old our child was, what she weighed last visit, and even what her name was and if we had been there before. Please, when searching for a pediatrician, interview the practice about how its physicians review and record your child's data… and whether the doctors are capable of performing their duties to care for children while using such technology
