Finally let go, fired from Nash UNC after years of drama, infighting, and poor performance. Judgement and physician relationships were inadequate. Competency in her job was never demonstrated in substantive matters. To rate this physician administrater 1 of 5 stars requirs a procrustean streach.

Very poor in insight, and medical knowledge.

Dr. Meera Kelly saved my life along with teams of several other doctors my first semester at UNC Chapel HIll. I contracted neisseria meningitis type B as a freshman college student living in Granville Towers at UNC, I had played JV soccer for UNC and had won a state championship with my travel team the summer before attending Carolina, so I was in very good shape, but the meningitis made my heart dilate. I had sepsis very bad and had a severe rash all over my body...I remember when I finally came too, my parents told me I was in the top ten percentile of worst meningitis cases that UNC hospitals had ever seen. This was in the Fall of 2004. I was eighteen years old. Since then I have done some research on the illness but I never sat down to talk with a doctor about what actually happened. I did that today. It is a miracle I survived, and without having any of my fingers or toes amputated!!!! Thank you Dr. Mira for doing your job. God Bless You.
