Dr. Megan Keeffe Baker, MD

I saw her PA Laura before the biopsy and I saw her once after a biopsy. I complained of pain, with yellow and green discharge. She told me it was normal and dismissed me. Told me she could remove the marker and lump if I really wanted it out, but really tried to convince me to keep it. I told her I was allergic and didn't want it in my body, to begin with, but the Roper radiology forced me to get it. She changed my appnt multiple times for removal even changing the hospital location. it was as if she was trying her best to make it as difficult as possible to get this removed. I would not recommend her as her staff keeps telling me how busy and overloaded she is with patients and that she is not accepting any new cancer patients. In the end, I had to see services at MUSC for my pain and discharge. It was infected and I got antibiotics. I didn't even get an apology from her that she missed the infection.

Dr. Baker is one of my favorite doctors. She is caring and articulate in explaining everything I need to know.

Great bedside manner, wonderful practitioner. She comes highly reccomended. Would choose her again if needed any type of GI surgery or Breast Surgery. Went above and beyond.
