Dr. Megan Bird, MD

Dr. Bird is very caring and kind, going above and beyond, walking with me through the effects of being in a mass radiation accident and the aftermath. I'm so very grateful for her care.

My appt felt very rushed. There was a brief chat, changed for the exam, then the nurse came in to hand me my follow up notes. I did not realize I was done with the Dr and had more questions. I had to ask her to come back in. Didn't feel like the platform I paid for to have the full time I needed and deserved.

Dr. Bird is an EXCELLENT provider.

I literally told my husband when I got home from my appointment that Dr. Bird was one of the most thorough, kind and easy to understand doctor that I've had In years!

Dr. Bird gave me by far the least traumatic exam I’ve ever had. She was patient, asked questions beforehand, offered me options of what I might be most comfortable with, and carefully walked me through everything she was about to do before she did it. She spent a lot of time with me answering questions and was extremely empathetic with me having a lot of anxiety about the exam. I’d recommend her to anybody, but particularly to anybody who has medical anxiety or is specifically looking for a gynecologist who is trauma informed and actively makes sure your exam feels safe and secure and under your control.

I decided not to return to Dr Bird after 1 visit. She seemed abrupt and impatient. The office also would not correct a billing error which cost me a substantial amount of $ for what I expected to be a preventative care appointment. I did the legwork with my insurance company and found the reason for the mis-understanding, but Dr Bird refused to change the billing codes to preventative care codes. I did not have this trouble again after switching to a different gynecologist.

She has done her best to help me through my transition. It can be a scary thing. But I assure you she is very proactive and will help you when you really need it.

She seems nice, but if she doesn't get paid fast enough she completely gives up on you and so does her staff.

Dr Bird is an amazing person and physician, it took forever for me to find a obgyn who is patient, very personable, knowledgable, and totally fine with my partner being the same gender. I do not like going to the doctor, ever. I actually look forward to my visits with her, because she listens, includes me in my care, and doesn't rush out the door or make me feel uncomfortable. She was recommended to me by a coworker, who called her a "life saver." I thought that was a bit drastic, until I saw her. She really is.

Dr. Bird and her assistant in the clinic, Elizabeth and a wonderful team. Communication before my surgery, via email and phone calls were promptly answered, calls returned and every question I had was answered right away. Dr. Bird's bedside manner is the BEST I've ever had. She held y hand when I was wheeled back to surgery, away from my husband, all the way until I fell asleep from anesthesia. She educated my husband in the waiting room after surgery. She takes her time in the appts at the clinic. She truly listens and respects my desires about everything from birth control to surgery. I can't praise her enough for her compassion and knowledge. She is passionate about her career and has a contagious love for life.
