Megan Leitch, MD

I visited Dr. Megan Leitch at the end of March 2926 at her Summit office at the Overlook Hospital Neurological Center. She gave me the most thorough Neurological exam I’ve ever had in the 43! years since I was diagnosed with MS (1983). I have visited local doctors, MS specialists in NYC and the National Institute of Health in Baltimore multiple times. Dr L discussed my history and asked many focused questions and discussed the various ways to figure out the cause of my deteriorating ability to walk and the possible future diagnosis alternatives. Though she stated MS was not her specialty, she took it as a challenge for how to genuinely help her patient. This is the first time I can recall any doctor in the past having this fantastic attitude. She took copious notes throughout my long visit and scheduled a follow-up visit after the MRI and blood test looking for deficiency in specific areas. I repeat, how wonderful Dr Leitch is. How I wish more doctors I will be as caring and… meticulous. Note, I had virtually no wait and parking was easy, though a bit of a walk from the office.

The office staff were incredibly pleasant and accommodating, ensuring a smooth check-in process. The nurses were equally wonderful—friendly and attentive, which made the visit even more comfortable. Dr. Megan Leitch. was amazing. She took the time to explain my condition, Bell's Palsy, in great detail, helping me fully understand both the nature of my condition and the path to recovery. Her examination was incredibly thorough, and she explained every step along the way, which made me feel confident and reassured throughout the process. Another standout feature of this office is the efficiency. The wait time was minimal, and being able to complete most of the paperwork online beforehand made the visit even more seamless and enjoyable. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Megan Leitch. to anyone dealing with Bell's Palsy or similar concerns. Her expertise,… thoroughness, and compassionate care make her an exceptional neurologist. January 9, 2024 There are very few doctors I have seen through my life that I appreciate as much as Dr. Leitch. I went into this appointment feeling very stressed about my condition. I left feeling uplifted and optimistic. Thank you, Dr. Leitch!

I had my first appointment with Dr. Leitch this past week. She spent so much time with me.....listening and going through all my records. I feel confident that I am in the best hands medically with Dr. Leitch but I also appreciate her kindness.

Dr. Leitch spent a tremendous amount of time with me and listened very carefully. She was very engaged and I knew I had her complete attention. Based on only one visit I highly recommend her.

Thorough and responsive

Dr Leitch is professional, thorough and extremely compassionate. She not only provided competent care for the main reason I came to her for, but also for me as a whole person.

I've been seeing her for years after seeing many bad doctors. She truly cares. Unfortunately my condition is mysterious and not much has improved it but that's not her fault. I highly recommend. She's pretty too!
