Dr. Megan Linne Mackenzie, DO

Dr Megan MacKenzie, DO has been my neurologist for several years. I was prescribed narcotic pain meds for the past 40 years for my restless leg syndrome, fibromyalgia, and arthritis. Dr MacKenzie suggested using Gabapentin instead of the narcotics. Dr Mackenzie explained that nerve pain cannot be controlled with narcotics, and arthritis is better treated with anti-inflammatory meds. She was 100% right!! Dr MacKenzie and her entire staff made me feel like I was visiting loving family instead of a doctor. I highly recommend Dr MacKenzie and her office staff.

Very inexperienced and maybe spent 4 minutes with me. Did not reach to bottom of problem and really didn't care to. Would not recommend.

Dr Mackenzie is a lovely person. Her office staff is horrid and rude. I quit Dr. Mackenzie because of her office staff.

I have never had such a poor experience with a doctor. She is unprepared for your appointment. You have to remind her several times why you are there. Ordered tests but did not call with the results. I asked about them in my appointment and she said "Um..I think everything was OK". That didn't exactly inspire confidence in her abilities as a doctor. She has a very relaxed communication style that comes across as being dismissive. I would avoid her like the plaque.

Her assistant thinks she knows more than Drs. She spent maybe 5min with me and didn't listen to my symptoms and was arrogant. Scheduled useless tests then show up a little late wants me to reschedule after I drove all the way across town in a thunderstorm (kicker is I had to stand at the window for 10min because receptionist was on the phone). Poor all the way around

Just finished her residency and her inexperience is clearly evident.
