Dr. Megan Shine Poston, MD

In November of last year, I had an appointment with Dr. Megan Poston. I was (and still am) having some severe issues. While in my visit, I had also asked about weight loss medication. She told me that she would have the nutritionist reach out to me. I still have not received a call from the nutritionist. (Its the end of February) While in my appointment in November, she told me she was setting me up for an ultrasound and Mammogram. I go to those appointments (one month later is when they were scheduled) and I never got a call either of the results. I waited until after the first of the year to reach back out and the nurse told me they had still not received my results. I waited a few more weeks and they said they had still not received them. I finally called the ultrasound technician and had to have them faxed over to Dr Postons office myself. A couple of weeks later (we are now at the first of February) the nurse called me and gave me my ultrasound results which did not answer any of… my questions as to why I was still having the problems that I saw her about back in November. She sets me up for a Tele-doc appointment so that I can talk to Dr Poston about the questions I still had and she stated that she was going to set me up to have some blood work done. She said I would be receiving a call from her nurse to set up a day for me to come in and get bloodwork. That was on February 10th. I have reached out since to find out when I would be scheduled for blood work and TO THIS DAY (Feb 23) I still have not received a call to get bloodwork or had any of my questions answered. I will be looking for another doctor. I feel very dismissed with this doctor and staff as a whole.

She was very sweet and an overall great Dr. If I have any more children I would want her to deliver them.

She was the best during pregnancy. Very proactive, respectful and thoughtful. She was there when i needed her.

Dr. Poston is amazing! She is always super helpful and easy to talk to. I’m 21 and have been twice now. She has helped me in more ways than I can describe though! Highly recommend her to anyone!!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Dr. Poston. She and her staff at Henderson and Walton, truly made my family and I feel like we were her only patient. Her bedside manners are impeccable, and her expertise is one of a kind. I would recommend her to anyone that is in search of a fabulous doctor.

After receiving recommendations to see Dr. Posten, I was disappointed. I got a very quick explanation of why I was being prescribed a pill (still don't know but will find out when I pick it up-my pharmacist is more helpful) and the very distinct impression that I was holding up lunch hour for her and her nurse. Henderson and Walton is a mess. It looks like no one cares about a facelift; the furniture is worn out, the place dirty, even the sharps container was rusty. The same old tired, rude lack-of-empathy Jenny was there at the front desk (I remember how cold she was when I miscarried years ago). I was hoping for some answers and a slightly more involved visit than 15 mins. after I waited for 2 hours. More of the same. I don't think I will ever be back to this clinic.

Dr. Poston is by far the most compassionate and understanding doctor I have ever been to. She takes time to address every concern and makes you feel comfortable. She goes above and beyond to provide the best healthcare for you and your baby while pregnant.
