Dr. Megan Anne Staton, MD

After 14 years, Dr. Staton sent a certified letter and quit being my doctor because I couldn't afford to indulge her in added testing and office visits I didn't ask for nor felt I needed. I have insurance but the deductible is extremely high. I don't believe I should have to choose between going into debt for excessive health care expenses versus buying groceries and paying the mortgage. The level of care needed should be my choice not a requirement. I don't think any doctor should be allowed to stop providing care when it suits them. This proved to me Intermed is a business and nothing about it is altruistic. Where's the compassion? Like so many things now, it's all about the $$$$$$. Dr. Staton is a business woman first and an attentive physician last!

I wouldn't recommend sending anyone to her. She does listen to what you have to say but she doesn't make any recommendations on what could be wrong. She never seems to be in the office. She either has the day off, is on vacation, or needs to reschedule. Worst experience with a doctor ever.

This doctor refused to take my mother's persistent cough and breathing problems seriously, and after over a year of complaint, never even ordered an X-ray. After finally seeing a pulmonary specialist and diagnosed with cancer, she told my mother that the year wait "wouldnt have made any difference'. She then actually yelled at my mother over the phone and refused to provide information to another doctor's office. I would not recommend putting a loved one in her hands.

Megan is my primary care doctor, and I chose her as my OB when I found out I was pregnant. She is now also my daughter's pediatrician. I could not ask for more from her! She is always kind and easy to talk to, and takes as much time as you need to ask questions or just talk to her. Her advice is always helpful and sets your mind at ease. Aside from making you feel comfortable, she is also an excellent doctor. You will feel safe in her hands.

Dr. Staton is awesome! I feel so comfortable with her, and can tell her anything. She is so nice and friendly and takes time to explain everything. I'm a 21 year old female, and feel very comfortable telling her about my personal life. I would strongly recommend her to anyone!
