Dr.Vucovich is on the cutting edge, way ahead of most Doctors treating keloid scars, because she was willing to listen. She uses a Dermajet in treating these scars, which is 80-90% less painful. This should be the Gold Standard for Doctors treating keloids. I appreciate her listening. She was the 8 Doctor that I visited since Kevin Hagan retired, BEGGING them to get a Dermajet. Dr.Vucovich is the only one that listened. THAT, is the sign of a great Physician and an Asset to Vanderbilt.

Dr. Vucovich asked me about some concerns I had expressed at previous appointments. I was please that she followed up on those concerns. She was very supportive and I feel very good about our discussion and understanding the ongoing impact the surgery is having in the area. She offered me options to address some items that I make me a little uncomfortable. However, I asked if it I could wait a little bit longer before any other surgeries/procedures as I felt that there is still an opportunity for my body to adjust. Additionally, I am going to require hip replacement surgery in the Fall. I sincerely appreciated Dr. Vucovich understanding that I preferred to wait.
