The best primary care doctor I could’ve ever asked for. I have been using Dr. W for over 2 years now and I can’t tell you how safe, and cared for I feel as a patient. Seriously—she CARES. She also remembers her patients, and their issues. I feel listened to, and well-addresses after every appointment, portal message, phone call—etc. Oh and by the way, if you’re told to show up at a certain time for an appointment—there’s a reason. Respect the doctor’s time. Respect the staff’s time. If you’re waiting—there’s a reason. Coming from someone who also works in a form of health care. A+ office.

I am 73yo and I moved here from out of state last summer after my husband died. I have a pacemaker, afib, severe heart and respiratory issues. I also have a spinal stimulator implant and sciatica / neuropathy in both hips, legs and feet so walking is a chore at the best of times and I'm terrified of falling as I take blood thinners and could internally bleed. I use a walker and cane. I have incontinence due to lasix for the neuropathy. I had just been released from the hospital-pneumonia for the 5th time-and had a follow up appt with her, this was in DEC. The office policy is that you must give a 24hr cancellation notice for an appointment or they charge $25. My issue is on the day of my appt - mid afternoon- it not only was snowing, the wind was extremely rough, the temp in the single digits and my whole body was aching horribly. And I still wasn't well from the pneumonia. I called her office at 9:30am of that day to reschedule and was told that I would owe the $25 and it would have… to be paid before she would see me again. I replied that IF I had known by 4:00 the day before on how I would feel then I WOULD have called so I'm not paying $25 for nothing. The receptionist said she would speak to Megan and call me back. She did and said their office could no longer see me because I was considered a NO-SHOW. I live on a small fixed income, rely on my daughter for transportation and am not eligible for home assistance in New York. I was not a no show but they wouldn't take these circumstances into consideration so I was left without a primary Dr. Megan is very good as a Dr. and I was and am very disappointed. I was always early for appts. and have waited over 45mins. a few times and never complained. I cannot control my body pain nor the weather and IF I had been consistently late or a no show I could understand. Every patient is different and has different levels of issues. Mine are severe and the doctor knew this when she accepted me as a patient.

I just had my first visit to the WNY Primary Care office w/ Dr. Wierchowski and I was so pleased with my experience! I had a night appointment so I didn't have to wait very long but everyone from the check-in and the medical assistant was super friendly and helpful. You can tell Dr. Wierchowski really wants to connect and listen to her patients and she put my mind at ease right away with my concerns. I've had bad experiences with doctors who rush through your exam in the past but she took her time and was very thorough. I can't recommend her enough!

I find Dr Wierchowski a very caring and thorough Doctor. I noticed some comments about having to be the 30 minutes before your appointment. By the way that is only for the FIRST appointment to have time to fill out and input a new patient’s medical history. After that they recommend 15 minutes. Every Doctor or Dentist I have ever gone to has had these same recommendations. The thing I like best about her is she take time with you. I have Never had to wait more than 15 minutes to be called back and 10 or 15 minutes before was knocking on the door to come in and see me. I have recommended her to 4 family members and friends. They are All very pleased with her too!

I found Dr. Wierchowski to be very easy to talk to and very caring.

Dr. expects you to be at your appt for “check in” 30 min prior to your appt. Then makes you wait 30-45 minutes past appt time. A doctor who doesn’t value patients time is not a good doctor or even a good person.

I look forward to meeting w Dr Wierchowski. I was late for my first appt, and although I didn’t appreciate being told she would not see me, it taught me an important lesson and I’ve never been late again. I feel she truly cares, will listen to me and has a good staff.

Terrible! I had an appt. scheduled with Megan Wierchowski for 9:45 am I arrived at 9:35 am. The receptionist told me she would ask the dr. if she would see me as I was supposed to check in 30 minutes prior to my appt. time. She came back and said the Dr. would not see me. I offered to play them the voicemail left by their office confirming my 9:45 appt with no mention of a check in time 30 minutes prior. What arrogance I was just appalled, she had the nerve to ask if I wanted to reschedule!
