Dr. Megeen Parker, MD

Argumentative, rude, and unprofessional. I was a patient of Dr. Parker's for approximately six months before requesting a different primary doctor through the VA. The negative reviews from other patients in her various on-line profile(s) are what one can expect in receiving treatment from her. I've had a different primary doctor through the Madison, WI VA for the last few years with no issues what so ever in receiving similar care services to what I was being treated for on active duty. Dr. Parker seemed like she wanted to start back at square one for orthopedic treatment issues, for which I had over a 10 year history several other doctors and a treatment plan coming off of active duty which I was comfortable with. Dr. Parker came across like she needed to prove that everyone else I had seen up until that point was an idiot.

Dr. Parker is a VA Primary Care physician who was granted the privilege of serving our Nation's Veterans at the West Madison VA Out Patient Clinic. She responds to that calling by being mean, careless, mis-informed and possesses the worst bedside manner that I have ever witnessed. I have worked with VA and Military Physicians all of my adult life and this Physician is just flat out rude. I speak open about Dr. Parker to her colleagues and they all agree. The MISSION Act failed with this hire, but now, the VA is stuck with her. Shameful at the very least.

She is very condescending and not compassionate about her patients at all save yourself and find a different doctor

I saw Dr. Parker at her new clinic location, in the Park Bank building (off the Beltline in Middleton). I was very impressed with her knowledge, professionalism, and she took a lot of time to explain things to me. I appreciatead it that she treated me like an intelligent adult, and as an "equal" regarding my health. It's very easy to get an appointment at this new clinic.
